“We are listening!” says News Tribune, a local news team focused on local news.

As part of preparation for a late spring/early summer launch, the News Tribune ~ Digital looks to the community to identify news needs and local interests. A succinct but telling survey is one component of a broad community engagement initiative that will ultimately determine the focus of this new nonprofit news resource.
“We are energized by the overwhelming community response to the online survey,” says Linda Pavlik, Publisher. “It proves that the need for local, accurate, fact-based news in our community is real. People want to know what is happening behind the scenes in government, business, economic development, education, and the list goes on.”
“The results so far are not surprising, but useful as we look to substantiate our direction,” Pavlik continues. “This is only the beginning of the News Tribune’s community engagement. Building a useful and accessible news platform is a team effort. We will be asking for much more input in the coming weeks, months and years.”
